Getting distraction while painting or drawing something is generally a common thing for beginners. If you are an artist worried about how to focus on art? Then today's blog will clear all your doubts related to, how to focus on art?🤔

This is a short Lesson by which you will learn that how you can keep all your distractions away while your painting or while your drawing.

Before starting you can check our earlier blogs:

How to improve drawing.

  • Why is Focus that important while drawing?🤔

Focus is an important factor in art because if you concentrate while drawing painting, you will get the best results you want, but a lack of focus while drawing can result in mistakes in your art.

Here are some tips that will help you to focus while drawing:-❤

  1. Set comfortable while you are drawing.

Make sure you have a comfortable place like a desk and chair, which will help you stay focused in drawing and avoid distractions of getting back pains and different kinds of pains in your body and it will make your body totally concentrated on your artwork.

  1.   Add some time To your schedule for drawing

add some time to your daily schedule and at least give a maximum of 1 hour in a day to draw this will help you to improve a lot as well as this will help you to get involved in drawing daily.

  1.  Practice daily

This is the most important point that you have to practice daily it will help you to always be familiar with drawing and you will get results that you are concentrating more than usual on your drawings.

  1.  Explore new ideas

If you are lacking in ideas then make sure you just go through social media go through Instagram Facebook and different social media and just fine different ideas scroll over and if you find the best idea you can try it again and yes by doing this you will feel to draw something new and try something new

  1. Draw as much as your concentration allows you

Draw as much as your concentration allows you, is a really important point because if you are drawing or painting after some hours you will start getting a bit distracted and at a certain point you will come to the end of your creative mood. So make sure if you are at that point then stop your drawing for some time and restart after you got that drawing mood again.

  1. Have a great meal and sleep

Having a great meal and sleep will help you reduce all the distractions related to your body and related to sleep and help you focus more on your art. And you will be able to draw without any stress

  1. Listen to some music while drawing (recommended)

I always recommend listening to peaceful music or any music you like while drawing because this helps a lot this is one of my favorite techniques to stay focused in drawing and by listening to some music all the distractions around you in the atmosphere get reduced and you will not get distracted while painting.

  1. Go to a place where its no distraction.

You can go to a studio if you have one. Or on a desk where you study or draw. That place will get your mind in the mood to draw. And as there is no distraction you will not get a silent, working mind which is perfect for drawing. ( i usually sit at my desk or studio which is just for my drawing and study and it works.)

  1. Get some breaks

Breaktime! Is an important thing. This helps to get refreshed for a certain time and start your work again. If you are drawing for 1 hour make sure to have a 10-15 min break. This will help you to be constant in your creative mood and even you will not get bored.

TIP:- Listening to music is one of my favorites and works well. So you should try this out.

So before starting I highly recommend you to watch my earlier blog If you

want to know what are the essential tools for drawing and how to shade

Top 3 essential tools for drawing! 😍😯 ( For beginners )

How to shade and different techniques to shade! 😍😍🎨

The best way to learn to draw a human figure Is to go with the basics and go step by step... we will learn all the steps one by one.

In this blog, you will learn and:-

  1.  To draw the head

  2. Draw the neck

  3.  to draw the torso

  4.  to draw hip

  5.  to draw the Legs and thighs and foot

At the end of the blog, I am going to give a bonus tip for you guys by which you can

improve drawing human figures. This method is the easiest method to learn How to draw human figures, step by step.

 Great So now let's begin:-

If you have observed any drawing before if you notice then you will find out
that every drawing is constructed through the basic shapes like circle triangle square
rectangle etc Main artist draw a rough figure with basic shapes which can construct the
drawing similarly, before starting to draw the details you will draw a rough sketch of the
body by drawing different shapes or using different shapes like forehead you can you circle
for talk so you can use square and different shapes. starting drawing the Human figure we
will first of all focus on the Rough figure not on the details after drawing the Rough sketch
will step by step go with the details.
  • To start drawing a Human figure start with a rough sketch or taking a proportion of the body
  • As the human body has joints example) joints of our hands that are our elbow our wrist. so to show joints to show The joints we will use small circles  these circles will define the angle of the hand or the posture of  the drawing
  • .The places where there are joints of the body you will draw a circle to show the joints
  • As you can see in the drawing I have drawn small circles for the joints for the shoulder, elbow.

  • After drawing the Basic sketch of the figure, draw the curves the straight lines Focus mainly on the curves and the proportions of the body. if you are satisfied with the shape of your human figure.
  • Now observe the drawing carefully and if there are any corrections just go with it and correct it.
  • As you can see in the drawing I have drawn curve lines for the shoulders and arms.

  • Now draw the main outline of the body.
  • As you can see in the drawing I have drawn a light outer outline.
(tip:- For outlining you can use A marker, sharpie, or pen )

Now the most important thing that is detailing in the drawing makes drawing come into life and look more attractive prettier and more creative.

If you want To add more details like different accessories you can go with it. As you can see in the drawing I have drawn the clothes and tie and also added sunglasses 🕶 and also drawn beards to give some looks to the drawing.

Adding more details and more accessories will make the drawing come into life so as much detailing you can detail your drawing. To add realism to the drawing you can share it or use different colors to make it look more colorful and attractive.
To give a realistic feel to the human figure you can also shade it that is you should add some highlights at some Darker values by which it will make you are drawing to pop out. Now as you can see I have shaded my drawing.

( BONUS TIP:- If you are a beginner this method will go perfect with you. Just keep
practicing How to draw human figures. Use the method of drawing the basic shapes before detailing to draw any kind of drawing. this will make your drawing to be in the right proportion )
That's it for today guys... I hope you like today's blog.🎨🎨🎨
